What do we do?

AMLISS seeks to provide students at UNC-Chapel Hill with opportunities to explore art, museum, and visual resources librarianship and management. We organize lectures, workshops, special events and visits to museums and art libraries. We are an organization in the School of Information and Library Science, but students from all disciplines are welcome to join us.

What will you find on this blog?

Well, that’s up to you! We intend to post AMLISS event information, regional event information, art and museum news, and links to other art and museum blogs that we find interesting. However, we’d love to hear what else you’d like to see on the blog.

What’s coming up?

We’re compiling a list of our favorite art and museum blogs to share with y’all. Prepare to go on a following spree!
